I have developed two very important travel “skills” over my lifetime:

  1. Traveling with a european budget airline approved size carry-on suitcase. This is a self made policy, or rather a fear response instilled by my dad, that I now see great value in

    1. While I try to follow this policy absolutely, unfortunately winter exists and sometimes you just need to fill two checked luggage in Japan at Don Quixote

    2. My old tried and true is similar to this TUMI (mine wasn’t expandable) + my new addition to the travel fleet is this AER - which is heavier for sure but also maybe a bit bigger? Let’s see how it does

  2. Being able to sleep an almost concerning amount on long haul flights (75-80% on average)

    1. This time, I used my bath pillow as a neck pillow on the plane and it worked swimmingly. If you want to know more about my process - ask!
