My new favorite group of writers at Wi Spa & CK bridal spa prep feature

Hello from Wi Spa! Chance and community are finding me in the strangest ways lately. I had the day off from work and I was essentially paid to be here, i.e. my entrance fee was covered by the lovely and mysterious Steve.

Through the grapevine, my friend Tatiana told me that Steve brings people to Wi Spa and pays their entry so they can have a space to focus on their writing; he calls it WRITERS BLOC. We met in the lobby at 9:45 AM and were handed day passes. Since I was new, I introduced myself to the group: mostly men, mostly writing animation and/or horror features and screenplays and an overall stellar mix. They were super interested and supportive that I might’ve been the only spa writer coming to the spa writers group, very meta.

The day spa is a perfect place for people to write and houses all the basics you could need over a 10 hour stint: food, pools, heat, cold, rest, people watc…
